Basic Methods of Organic Farming

Fortunately, we have a way to get free from these life-threatening chemicals. It is Organic Farming which has been practiced since ancient times.

Organic Farming aims at cultivating the land and raising crops in such a way that the soil remains in good health.  The use of organic wastes crop, animal and farm wastes, aquatic wastes, and other biological materials helps organic farming

There are different methods by which organic farming is practiced as follows:

Crop variety: At present, a new practice has come into existence in which a variety of crops can be cultivated at the same time just to meet the growing demand for crops.

Soil supervision: At the end of the cultivation of crops, the quality of the soil is depleted. Organic agriculture helps to increase the health of the soil in a natural way. It uses bacteria present in animal waste, which makes soil productive.

Weed Control: Weed is an unwanted or useless plant that grows in agricultural fields. But organic agriculture lowers the weed rather than removing it completely.

Controlling other organisms:  Agricultural farm is impacted by both useful and harmful organisms. The development of such organisms is restricted to the use of herbicides and pesticides that comprises less chemicals, and organic to keep the soil and the crops protected.

Genetic Modification:  It is different from agricultural set up because organic farming focuses on the use of natural ways and puts off planned work with animals and plants.

Farm animals: Organic farming brings about the use of domestic animals in order to boost the durability of the farm.

Organic farming is no longer restricted to any nation, it is now internationally regulated and legally enforced by a number of nations. Since the demand for organic food is increasing, the demand for organically managed farmland  is also on the rise.
